This PA of the Day is from Tasos Fotiou.
An EAW rig was used in Summer 2010 at an ancient amphitheater in Dion, Greece. From Tasos, “It was a nice gig, but four of us had to carry the Midas Sienna console all the way up the middle section of the amphitheater, at the FOH position, under 42* Celsius (107* Fahrenheit) at midday.”
Hey – wait a minute – weren’t amphitheaters designed to not need any PA support?! 😉
