Terms

Reading the site
Everything here is shared as is. We work to get every story right, but we can't promise every detail is. If you spot a mistake, tell us at [email protected] and we'll fix what's wrong.
Most stories live on someone else's site. When you click through, you're on their site and under their rules.
The photos and videos belong to the people who shot them. Don't copy or repost them without the owner's OK. Sharing a link to the page is always fine. Our name, our logo and the words we write are ours.
Safety notice
These photos and videos show how a job was done, not how to do it, and not every job here was done safely. Some show exactly what not to do. Never base a decision on a photo, a video or what someone else did. Anything hung over people's heads, any power distribution and any cable run where people walk can hurt somebody. Before you hang, power or run anything, get advice from a qualified professional (a certified rigger, a structural engineer, a licensed electrician) and follow every law, code and venue rule that applies. On a job, follow your rigger, your crew chief and the venue's rules, never a photo or a video.
Sending us something
When you send something to PA of the Day, here's the deal.
You're giving us permission. If we post your photos or words, they can go on PA of the Day, our Facebook page, our Instagram page and our email digest. If you upload a video or send it as a file link, it can also go on our YouTube channel and social media accounts. Any revenue it earns is kept by PA of the Day to help keep the page running. Sending something in is a request to be published, never a guarantee. If a video has music in it, YouTube may mute it or run ads for the music's owner.
If you send photos or video, you're promising it's OK to share. You shot it, or whoever did said yes. You have permission from everyone else who needs to give it, including the venue or production company when that applies. If someone recognizable appears, you have their permission too. If someone under 18 is recognizable, a parent or guardian said yes.
If you send a link, it's to something its publisher meant to be public. No leaks.
It stays yours. You, or whoever shot it, still own the photos, video and words. We may fix punctuation or grammar, but we don't rewrite what you said. You're credited with your real name or anonymously on photos and videos (by name if you have a financial stake), and with the name you type on links.
We don't sell your submission. When we post it on Facebook, Instagram or YouTube, those sites get the rights their own terms require. Nobody else gets any.
Published pages are open to search engines, including AI ones that learn from the web.
If you're connected to a post, you can ask us to take it down. That means you sent it in, you're in it, you took it, it names your company or brand, or you're the parent or guardian of someone in it. Email [email protected] and we'll take it down from our site and our social media.
If you have a financial stake in what you're sending, say so on the form. That's fine. We just look at these a little harder before they go up. Your credit may name your company.
The legal part
PA of the Day is run from Sanford, Florida. Florida law applies to these terms, and any dispute goes to court in Seminole County. As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for losses that come from using the site or acting on what's on it.
